“Bones & Balance” Volume I : This 73-minute tape begins with instruction and practice of spine protective body mechanics (lifting, bending, coughing, computer positioning, etc). The main body of the tape continues with basic postural exercises safe for people with osteoporosis and disc problems, but also healthy and protective for anyone who wants to exercise safely and comfortably as a life long commitment to fitness. Safe stretching and some simple balance exercises are also included.
“Bones & Balance” Volume II : This 115-minute tape begins with brief spine protective body mechanics practice and then progresses to intermediate and advanced trunk strengthening, bone building, and balance exercises. These include work-outs with weights, elastic resistance, stair routines, balance and vestibular stimulation, and a Tai Chi walk. Safe stretching is also included. Emphasis is on exercises that should stimulate bone density maintenance, as well as over-all ageless mechanical health, balance, strength and well-being.
